Safety assessment is the most critical stage before introducing a cosmetic product to the market. At Natur Lab, we conduct an uncompromising, multi-faceted toxicological and chemical analysis of your formulation. We guarantee that the final product is 100% safe for the user and fully compliant with the stringent requirements of European law.

As part of this service, we provide:

  • CPSR (Parts A & B): Preparation of the complete Cosmetic Product Safety Report, which forms the mandatory core of the PIF (Product Information File) documentation.
  • Toxicological Assessment of Raw Materials: An in-depth analysis of the toxicological profile of every single ingredient used in the formulation, including trace impurities.
  • Margin of Safety (MoS) Calculation: Precise mathematical and toxicological calculations confirming that the concentration of a given substance poses no risk to human health under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.
  • IFRA Standards Analysis: Detailed verification of fragrance compositions and essential oils for compliance with the latest IFRA amendments, along with the correct identification of allergens.
  • Limit Verification (Annexes II–VI): Rigorous control of the ingredient list (INCI) against the annexes of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009—we verify prohibited and restricted substances, as well as limits for preservatives, colorants, and UV filters.
  • Safety Report Updates: Ongoing adaptation of existing documentation to dynamically changing legislation (e.g., the addition of new CMR substances to Annex II) or modifications within the formulation itself.
